Surprisingly, all this takes is naming your divine alter ego. You may be asking, “How does it work?” It’s really quite simple. It’s not the first (see: Progress Quest), but it is slowly becoming one of the most popular. It does require a persistent internet/data connection, but only transfers a minuscule amount of info. So, pretty much anyone reading this blog can play it. Godville can be played not only on Android phones/tablets, but also the iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch and in any web browser. ![]() Why? Well … read on! (Duh.)īefore I delve in to the awesomeness of this game, a few details. Now, it ranks as one of my top 5 apps consistently. I figured it would be like the multitude of other free games I have/had downloaded on my phone. ![]() So, I jumped on to the Android Market, found it, read the description, and downloaded it. I didn’t think much of it, but I had a nagging feeling in the back of my mind about it. It was the top free app … but not the Free App of the Day (as is usually the case). Godville is a game I found on the Amazon Appstore for Android one day.
